BILL PAY

Why did I get a bill from Histocorp?

Great Question, HistoCorp is in the healthcare field. In short, we are an offsite laboratory that specializes in preparation of human tissue that ultimately allows a doctor to properly analyze, diagnose and treat disease.

You received a bill from us because either you are self pay (you don’t have insurance) or your insurance company informed us that you are responsible for some or the entire bill. For questions on your bill please call the following number (888)422-4631 or email us below.

Why didn't my insurance pay the bill?

Deductible: Most insurance plans require you to cover your medical expenses up to a certain point before the plan begins paying the bills. This is known as the deductible. The deductible typically ranges between $500 and $5,000. After your deductible is met, your plan should cover most of your medical expenses.

Coinsurance: Many plans will pay for a portion of your bill and leave the rest for you or a secondary insurance company to pay. CoPay: Some plans require you to pay a certain amount for each visit or event. CoPays typically range from $10 to $50 depending on your policy.

Denial: Some plans cover certain expense and not others. If your plan determines that our charges are not covered and that the patient is responsible for them, we will bill you for our services. We are happy to work with you on payment for our services.
